Everyone is happy that gas prices are dropping. Everyone pays attention to crude oil prices, but nobody considers gasoline taxes. I have attached a chart (click on it to make it larger) that shows the gasoline tax state by state. I live in a state that is on the high end. The demand for oil is now at a five-year low. This will definitely affect government revenue. Were you aware of the amount of your states gasoline tax?
